Good Enough?

“You’re not good enough.” These words seep into my soul, hindering opportunities, impairing productivity, and discoloring every dream.
“They won’t listen. It’s a waste of time. Why would they want you? You’re not qualified. You’re different… You’re not good enough.” Every word entangles my character with believable negativity until it becomes a routine part of my thought process. Each syllable holds me back, drags me under, and nails me down, pushing me closer towards the destructive path of becoming mediocre and stagnant.

To grow in grace involves stepping beyond the fears, the doubts, and the hopelessness into glorious faith. To grow in the knowledge of Jesus Christ involves boldly facing every lie head-on and destroying hell’s efforts to hold you back from God’s purpose for your life.
Rely on the Creator of the Universe to sustain and provide the power you need to overcome any and every battle you come up against so the next time you hear, “You’re not good enough,” you’re prepared.
Deep down, you know there is a grain of truth in it all. You are not good enough, but by God’s power being made perfect through your weakness, you can and will conquer the impossible.
One single thought, one single word, one single breath from God is more powerful than any menacing lie. You’re weak, but He is strong. Your flesh may fail, but God is the strength of your heart forever.

Take the time to celebrate the victories, dive into the Truth of God’s Word, count your blessings, and appreciate the little things. Remove selfish thinking with selfless kindness towards others. Drown out the doubt with praise and worship. Continually cast your cares and burdens upon Jesus’ shoulders. He knows. He sees. And He wants you to surrender every lie for His redeeming Truth. Christ is enough.
Because of Jesus Christ, what He’s done for you, and who He is, you are able to accomplish everything in His Name.

I'm Learning...
The devil is persistent, and he knows where my weaknesses are hidden. He sneaks the lies in by disguising them as "logical thinking," forcing me to daily question my abilities and purpose. I’m learning it’s important to abstain from giving in and giving up, even on the smallest tasks. I’m learning it’s crucial to fight against the destructive negativity and find reasons to prove to both hell and myself that God is bigger.
By his strength, my faith can move mountains.
Today's Challenge:
Read Psalm 73:26 and Philippians 4:8.
What mountain have you scaled today? Celebrate it.
